Educational Qualification: 1st Class Master Degree in
Agriculture/Seed Science.
Desirable: One year research experience in Tissue
Culture Laboratory.
Stipend & Tenure: Rs. 8,000.00 Per Month. Tenure will be

Himalayan Institute For Environment,
Ecology & Development- (HIFEED) is a leading Voluntary
Organisation located at Ranichauri, District Tehri
Garhwal, Uttarakhand. We have an excellent record of
performance in the field of adult education. We have
been running the Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), sponsored
by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of
India and have providing literacy linked vocational
training programmes in the District of Tehri Garhwal in
Uttarakhand. The JSS is responsible for providing
academic and technical resource support in taking up
vocational and skill development programmes for
literates and neo-literates in both urban and rural
areas.
We are looking for a dynamic person to head the
Organisation as its Director. He/she would be in-charge
of providing the Organisation with leadership, direction
and drive. He/she would also be fully in-charge of all
day-to-day activities. The Director is expected to have
proven capabilities of motivating and leading a team of
professionals. He should have good management skills and
be a team- builder.
Qualification and Experience
1. Second class Master Degree/MBA/BBA from a recognized
University/Institution.
2. Minimum 7 years experience in administration,
management and supervisory capacity in the field of
education, vocational
trainings and social science
research.
3. Working knowledge of the local language.
4. Experience in heading an Organisation, leading a team
and guiding/ conducting of research and evaluation.
Age of the candidate should be between 40 to 55 years as
on the date of application. The selected candidates will
be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 18,000.00 per
month (all inclusive). The appointment would initially
be for one year and extendable for two more years on
satisfactory performance.
Head Quarter of the candidate would be in Ranichauri in
the District of Tehri Garhwal in Uttarakhand. Eligible
candidates will be short listed and called for
interview. Out station candidates will be reimbursed
only to and fro IInd class Three Tier AC rail/bus fare

Qualification and Experience
Post No. 1
Graduate and minimum seven years of
experience in administration, management, trainer and
supervisory capacity in the field of education,

science preferably in a Voluntary Organisation. Working
knowledge on computer is must.

Graduate and minimum five years of experience
in supervisory capacity in the field of education,
vocational trainings, community mobilization and social
science preferably in a Voluntary Organisation. Working
knowledge on computer is must.

Graduate/Intermediate and minimum three years
of experience in supervisory capacity in the field of
education, vocational trainings and community
mobilization at field/village level preferably in a
Voluntary Organisation.

Intermediate and minimum three years of
experience in community mobilization at field/village
level preferably in a Voluntary Organisation.
Post No. 5
M. Com. and minimum seven years of experience
in maintaining day to day computerized accounts,
formulation of balance sheet, income & expenditure
account, receipt & payment account, to handle the income
tax and sale tax matters and administrative & financial
issues of an Voluntary Organisation.

B. Com and minimum five years of experience
in maintaining day to day computerized accounts,
formulation of balance sheet, income & expenditure

Graduate and minimum five years of experience
to work as Private Secretary preferably in a Voluntary Organisation, having working knowledge on computer,

English preferably in a Voluntary Organisation, having
