To promote cultural activities and to honour the cultural functioneries of the State of Uttarakhand, the Organization has organized a Late Keshav Anuragi (The famous poet of Uttarakhand) Smriti Samman Samaroh and honoured Shri Ratan Singh Jaunsari (the famous folk singer of Uttarakhand) in memory of Keshav Anuragi. The programme was supported by Directorate of Culture, Department of Culture, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. The programme was sanctioned by the Department during the year 2008. An amount of Rs. 50,000.00 was sanctioned by the Department to organize the programme.
The second Late Keshav Anuragi Smiriti Samman Samaroh was orgnainzed by HIFEED during the year 2011 and honoured Smt Kabootri Devi (the famous folk singer of Uttarakhand) in memory of Keshav Anuragi. The programme was supported by Directorate of Culture, Department of Culture, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. The programme was sanctioned by the Department during the year 2011. An amount of Rs. 50,000.00 was sanctioned by the Department to organize the programme. An amount of Rs. 15,000.00 was also provided by the Uttarakhand Poorv Sainik Kalyan Nigam Ltd.
